About

The Thunder Run is a 24-hour challenge in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, held at GORUCK headquarters as the in-person kickoff event for the GWOT 100. It starts on January 30, 2027, at 4 p.m., with a 24-hour race and a 24-hour relay.

Capacity is limited to 100 athletes. Participants receive a swag bag, and the event serves as a live celebration complementing the virtual option for those taking on the challenge. Proceeds support Team RWB's programs for veterans.
