About

The Snake 10-Mile Trail Race takes place at Clinton Lake's Overlook Park in Lawrence, Kansas, on July 24, 2027, starting at 7:00 a.m. The 10-mile (16.1 km) course winds along rugged trails through old-growth forest, offering a unique challenge.

There's an aid station on course and a post-race watermelon feast for runners, volunteers, families and friends. Participants must follow a few rules: respect the trails, stay on marked paths and be courteous to other trail users. Leashed dogs are allowed, but wheeled vehicles and alcohol are not.
