The Opener, part of the Switchback series, is a 5K race held at The Course Spokane Valley in Spokane Valley on August 15, 2027. The Youth 3K starts at 9 a.m., followed by the Women's 5K at 10 a.m. and the Men's 5K at 11 a.m.
With races for both youth and adults, the event gives athletes a chance to compete and connect with other runners. Food trucks and a range of community activities round out the day.
