About

The Observatory Loop Relay is a team relay in Los Angeles on February 25, 2027, run as a 4 x 1 mile format (4 miles / 6.4 km in total) starting at 7 p.m. Pairs of runners take turns running loops around the Observatory, passing the baton after each lap.

Each runner completes two laps, with a break in between. The race is run in the dark, and every runner must wear a headlamp. Runners can register as a team or individually and will be paired with a partner if needed. The event is open to runners of all abilities.
