The Kauai 50 is a 50-mile (80.5 km) ultra trail race in Koloa, on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, held on August 1, 2027. The course crosses a variety of the island's landscapes, from lush forests to sections along the coast.
This ultra is aimed at experienced runners able to manage a long effort on demanding tropical terrain, marked by heat and humidity. The route takes in some remarkable natural sites between volcanic ridges and the Pacific coast, combining athletic performance with a journey through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Hawaiian islands.
