The Great Grape Race takes place in Dundee, Ohio, at Winesburg Park as part of the Winesburg Reunion weekend. Two distances are on the program on September 18, 2027: a 5K (3.1 miles) starting at 8:00 a.m. and a 10K (6.2 miles) whose start time has not been announced, on a course through the surrounding farmland.

Medals go to the top male and female finishers, every participant gets an ice cream voucher, and refreshments await at the finish. The race welcomes a wide field, from kids to seasoned racers. For a first 10K, the step up from the 5K is as much about pacing as distance: expect to run noticeably slower than your usual 5K pace. The fall festival that follows, with food trucks, baseball games and entertainment, rounds out the morning.
