About

The Great GO! St. Louis Halloween Race runs across two days in Eureka, Missouri, on October 24-25, 2026. Saturday holds the 5K at 7:30 a.m. and the one-mile fun run at 9:15 a.m.; Sunday brings the half marathon (13.1 miles) and the 10K, both at 7 a.m. Post-race entertainment includes treats, drinks for those over 21 and a festival area, and a costume contest encourages runners to dress up. Local businesses take part, and the event is organized by GO! St. Louis, known for well-run races.

The two-day format lets you take the 5K as a shakeout on Saturday and race the half on Sunday, but only if Saturday stays genuinely easy. Otherwise pick one and commit. A first half marathon here is well supported; give it a 12 week build with a weekly long run, and plan your costume around something you have already run in.
