About

The Gauntlet Mud Run in Greenville is a 5K (3.1 miles) obstacle race starting at 10 a.m. on July 31, 2027, followed by a kids' race at noon. Its military-inspired obstacles, including walls, ropes and mud, are set on natural terrain and test teamwork and perseverance.

Awards are given by age group and by team, with cash prizes for the top overall finisher. Free parking, a bag check, a kids' area and a food zone with a complimentary beer token are provided. Profits support the Light Foundation's youth programs.
