The Florida Run @ Lake Louisa State Park

The Florida Run at Lake Louisa State Park marked its 10th anniversary in 2025 with a 5K, 10K, and half marathon (13.1 miles) through one of central Florida's most scenic natural landscapes, near Clermont.

The course winds through pine forest, shaded oak groves, rolling meadows, and along quiet shorelines, blending terrain types to keep the race interesting from start to finish. With chip timing, aid stations roughly every 1.9 miles, and a post-race meal at the finish, the event is built around both comfort and performance. Every finisher receives a commemorative medal, with awards across several categories, including team divisions and a popular competition among public officials. The family-friendly atmosphere makes this event as much a community celebration of fitness, nature, and camaraderie as it is a trail race.
