About

The Endless Mile runs in Alabaster, Alabama, on October 22–24, 2026, and stacks timed events alongside two fixed distances. The 72-hour begins October 22 and the 48-hour October 23, while the 24-hour, 12-hour and 6-hour all start October 24, as do the marathon (26.2 miles) and the 50K (31 miles). Every format goes off at 9:00 a.m.

Timed races reward patience over speed: you keep moving for a set number of hours and the mileage takes care of itself. Plan your stops, change socks and shoes before you need to, and eat on a schedule rather than by appetite. The two fixed distances make sense for a first marathon or a first 50K, while the multi-day options call for months of back-to-back long runs, a rehearsal of running through the night, and a crew or drop bag system you have actually tested beforehand.
