About

The All-American BOOM! (Garland, TX) celebrates independence and freedom in Garland, Texas, with races for every age: a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), a 10K (6.2 miles), a 5K (3.1 miles), a 1-mile race (1.6 km) and a Kid's Dash. On July 4, 2027, the Kid's Dash starts at 6:45 a.m., the half marathon at 7:00 a.m., the 10K at 7:05 a.m., and the 5K and 1 mile at 7:15 a.m.

Participants can earn medals, and the top three in each age group are eligible for additional awards. Age groups run from under 9 to 70 and over, with separate awards for men and women. The male and female overall winners and the masters winners receive themed trophies. The kids' race lets young runners experience a sprint and includes a participant T-shirt, with an optional medal. Registration includes themed T-shirts and finisher medals for selected races.
