About

The TexasMedRun in Houston, on February 20, 2027, offers a 10K (6.2 miles), a 5K (3.1 miles) run and walk, and a 1K Superhero Run, open to all ages. The 10K, 5K and 5K walk start at 8:00 a.m., and the 1K Superhero Run at 9:00 a.m.

The event is organized by the Harris County Hospital District Foundation. Proceeds support the Harris Health Heart Health initiative, which funds programs focused on patient education, community outreach and preventive heart care. The goal is to raise awareness and provide resources to improve cardiovascular health in the Harris County community through Harris Health System.
