About
The Tega Cay Memorial Day Weekend 5k in Fort Mill, held on May 24, 2027, with an 8:00 a.m. start, supports the Tega Cay veterans' association and a national nonprofit dedicated to veterans' well-being. The 5K (3.1-mile) course runs through Catawba Park and along part of the Baxter trail.
Proceeds go to Semper Fi & America's Fund, a nonprofit founded in 2004 that provides care and support to critically wounded service members, veterans and military families, making sure they have the resources they need during recovery and as they reintegrate into their communities.
