The Team APMA 5K Run/Walk takes place at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, on August 7, 2027, with a 6:00 a.m. start. Participants of all fitness levels run or walk in support of podiatric medical students.

The event raises money for scholarships through the APMA Educational Foundation, with proceeds going to the future leaders of podiatry. Participants register in advance, check in on race day and are invited to share their experience on social media. The event has drawn more than 1,900 runners and walkers and has raised significant funds, helping finance more than 200 podiatric medical scholarships each year.
