About
The Takshanuk Ridge Run is a tough 11.5-mile (18.5 km) trail race in Haines, Alaska, benefiting Haines Huts & Trails. It starts at 8:00 a.m. on July 25, 2027, crossing temperate rainforest and an alpine ridge before finishing in Haines.
The race requires self-sufficiency, as there are no aid stations on the course. Runners must follow wilderness safety rules, respect others and carry essential gear, and they are responsible for their own safety and conduct. The race director may modify or cancel the event for safety reasons. Every finisher receives a drink voucher, and the top three men and women win prizes.
