The Sweaty Yeti 5K takes place in East Jordan on July 10, 2027, with a 5K run/walk (3.1 miles) at 8 a.m. and the Make a Memory Mile fun run (1 mile / 1.6 km) at 9 a.m.
The event is held in honor of Christie Barber-Galvin and Kellie Barber, starting at Boswell Stadium and running through nearby wooded trails. The fun run features obstacles and family activities open to all abilities, and proceeds fund the Barber-Galvin Memorial Scholarship. Dogs are not allowed on East Jordan Public Schools property.
