Swanzey Covered Bridges Half-Marathon

The Swanzey Covered Bridges Half-Marathon in Swanzey, New Hampshire, is a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) on September 5, 2027, that honors its founder, Elijah Barrett, and supports Monadnock Regional Middle/High School.

The course is mostly flat and paved, with a few gentle hills, and passes historic covered bridges in the southwest of the state. Runners cover paved roads, a converted rail trail and dirt roads before returning to the school. Restrooms, locker rooms, showers, and water and Gatorade stations are available, along with a post-race barbecue. The event is open to runners and joggers of all levels.
