Swanzey Covered Bridges

The Swanzey Covered Bridges Half Marathon runs through southwestern New Hampshire, passing several of the region's historic covered bridges along the way. The mostly flat 13.1-mile course combines paved roads, a converted rail trail, and a few stretches of dirt path, making it approachable for a wide range of paces. Open to walkers, joggers, and runners alike, the race draws around 500 participants each year and wraps up with a casual barbecue for everyone once they've crossed the finish line.
