About

Surviving the Color is a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk in Terre Haute on May 15, 2027, starting at 9:00 a.m. Designed for fun rather than competition, it sees participants doused in color at points along the course. Open to runners and non-runners alike, it supports Team of Mercy, an organization that helps people affected by suicide.

Participants receive a themed T-shirt, a personalized bib and post-race refreshments, and can enjoy a DJ set. Kids under 8 take part for free. The race finishes at Deming Park, and a parking plan is in place. Memorial banners can be requested to honor loved ones. Proceeds go to the nonprofit, and no refunds are available.
