Sunset on Cancer 1 Mile Fun Run & 5K Run/Walk is an event for survivors featuring a race and a fun run on the beach in Ocean Springs on October 2, 2027. The 5K (3.1-mile) run/walk starts at 4:30 p.m. and the 1-mile fun run at 5:30 p.m., and a 1 Mile & 5K Combo lets participants do both.

The event raises money for the Singing River Foundation Cancer Fund and the American Cancer Society to support cancer patients. Proceeds provide essential assistance with medication, dental care and transportation, and help improve cancer centers.
