The Sunflower Relay, Half Marathon and Marathon in Winthrop offers a trail marathon (about 26.8 miles / 43.1 km) and a trail half marathon (about 13 miles / 20.9 km) through the wildflower fields of the Methow Valley on April 24, 2027.
Part of the course crosses private land open only for this event, giving participants access to sunflower-filled meadows linking the towns of Mazama and Twisp. Runners can enter individually or as a team of 2 to 5 people, with options for every endurance level in the valley's natural setting.
