The Summit Survivor Backyard Ultra at Kissing Bridge takes place in Glenwood, Erie County, New York, starting from Kissing Bridge resort. This 12-hour backyard ultra features a hilly 3-mile loop with about 500 feet of climbing, and runners head out at the top of every hour starting at 8:00 a.m.

Runners still standing after 11 loops race the 12th and final hour to claim the Summit Survivor title. The event is self-supported: bring your own crew, tent and fuel, and a headlamp is required after dark.
