About

The Summer Sweat 5K & 10K Race takes place in Waynesboro on July 10, 2027, with a 10K and a 5K both starting at 7:00 a.m. The course runs through the town's neighborhoods, with water stations, a post-race awards ceremony and refreshments.

Participants receive a race T-shirt, and part of the registration fees goes to a local Relay for Life chapter. The race is also part of the Run the Valley series, which includes other events such as the Mad Anthony Mud Run and the Fall Foliage 10K; runners interested in the series can sign up for as many races as they like.
