About

Sugg Farm Ultra is held in Holly Springs, North Carolina, on September 12, 2026, with three trail distances starting within minutes of one another: a 50 Miler at 7:00 AM, a 40 Miler at 7:05 AM and a 20 Miler at 7:10 AM. The name places it at Sugg Farm park.

The staggered starts and mile-based distances suggest a course built on repeated loops, which suits runners who like predictable aid and the option to see friends and crew often. The 20-mile is a fine long run with a bib for anyone building toward a fall marathon, the 40-mile is an unusual and useful step between 50K and 50 miles, and the 50-mile is a full-day ultra goal. Prepare for warmth in a North Carolina September with heat-adapted long runs, a solid hydration plan and, for the two longer formats, back-to-back weekend long runs over a 16- to 20-week build.
