About

Sugar Daddy Race takes place on June 19, 2027, in the Santa Clarita Valley, California. A children's fun run opens at 6:15 a.m., followed by the half marathon (13.1 mi) at 6:30 a.m., the 10K (6.2 mi) at 6:45 a.m. and the 5K (3.1 mi) at 7:00 a.m. The course is fast and paved, on trails finishing at the historic Iron Horse bridge, and is open to runners and walkers alike.

A paved trail closed to traffic is the ideal surface for a first half marathon: no kerbs, no cars, no turns to break your rhythm. Use it to practise even pacing — set your watch to show average pace rather than current pace, and aim to cross halfway having spent exactly half your effort.
