The Steps for Sidney 5K Run/Walk is a 5K (3.1 miles) in Appleton on August 15, 2027, starting at 8:30 a.m. It is organized by the Apple Tree Connections (ATC) early learning center together with local partners, with proceeds benefiting March of Dimes.

Participants gather at the ATC playground, and the course starts on Canvasback Court. The flat route winds through a neighborhood and loops around a pond before returning to ATC. After the event, there will be food, drinks and door prizes, with medals for the top finishers. Parking is available in the ATC lot and on the surrounding streets.

The event is open to runners, walkers, adults and families. Strollers and MP3 players are allowed; pets and bikes are not.
