St Aidan’s Winter Beast is a 6.66 mile (10.7 km) trail race at Little Preston on 7 February 2027, starting at 11am. It is designed for athletes who want to put their stamina and determination to the test.

Expect a demanding course that heads off the beaten track, with honest climbs and, when conditions allow, proper cross-country mud. The famous lock crossing adds an extra challenge to your race. Those who reach the top of the main hill are rewarded with a superb view over the park before the next section of the course calls them onwards.
