Sri Chinmoy 5K & Half-Marathon (July)

Sri Chinmoy 5K & Half-Marathon takes place on July 10, 2027, in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, New York. Both races start at 7:00 a.m.: the half marathon (13.1 mi) and a 5K (3.1 mi). Free parking and bag storage are provided.

Park-loop races organised by running clubs are inexpensive, well-marshalled and almost always accurately measured — the practical opposite of a big-city event, and a good place to run an honest time. A 7:00 a.m. start in July in New York also matters: an hour later, the same effort would cost you a minute a mile.
