About

The Spring Fling Run takes place in Los Angeles, California, in early April, at Hansen Dam, and celebrates the start of the running season. Runners can choose a 5K (3.1 miles), a 10K (6.2 miles) or a half marathon (13.1 miles), all starting at 7:30 AM on a loop course with water stops and on-site support. Runners are asked to wear their bibs visibly to make tracking easier. Every finisher receives a medal, the top male and female runners are rewarded, and a bag check is available at the registration tent. Results and photos are emailed after the event. The relaxed atmosphere suits both beginners and experienced runners.
