About

The Spirit of Magic Valley takes place in Twin Falls, Idaho, in early June, with a half marathon (13.1 miles), a 10K and a 5K all starting at 8:00 a.m., and kids' 1-mile runs at 8:30 a.m. The courses run along the Snake River Canyon Rim Trail, with views of landmarks such as the Perrine Bridge, the Evel Knievel jump site and Shoshone Falls.

Aid stations provide water and energy drinks, and each participant receives a gift bag containing a gel at packet pickup. The event welcomes experienced runners and families, and fosters a community feel in a scenic setting. A canyon rim course can be exposed to wind, and southern Idaho sun is strong, so bring sun protection.
