SpeakUp5k, officially the Dominion Payroll SpeakUp5k, is a community 5K (3.1 miles) in Richmond that raises awareness of mental health. It takes place at Byrd Park on October 2, 2027, starting at 9:00 a.m., and participants can also sign up to take part virtually from anywhere.

The event features fun, motivating zones and wraps up with a festive gathering at the finish line. It celebrates individual achievement and encourages community involvement in understanding mental illness. Teams, including schools, families, offices and neighborhoods, are encouraged to take part together.
