About

Southern Alamance Middle School Tigers 5k/Fun Run is held in Graham, North Carolina, on October 24, 2026, starting at 8:30 a.m. The event pairs a 5K with a fun run and doubles as a food drive, so bringing a donation is part of taking part.

School fundraisers are usually the friendliest races on the calendar, and a mixed field means walkers, families and quick local runners all share the same start. If you are racing, the 3.1 miles reward an even effort far more than a fast opening mile; if you are running with a child, the fun run is the better option and costs nothing in fitness. Four weeks of running three times a week is enough to enjoy the morning rather than endure it.
