Snap Dragon takes place on Sunset Mountain and is an endurance event open only to participants 18 and older. Competitors repeat a demanding roughly 3.1-mile loop through wooded terrain, loose gravel, and steep climbs. The race continues until just one runner remains or a set time limit is reached, with a final push to determine the top three men and women. The event rewards endurance, strategy, and the ability to sustain a strong pace, giving elite competitors the chance to cover serious distance before it's over.
