Slawit Snowstorm Shuffle

The Slawit Snowstorm Shuffle is a hilly trail race at Slaithwaite in Kirklees, held on 30 January 2027 along the scenic Huddersfield Narrow Canal, with a choice of 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon. The marathon and 5K start at 8.30am, the half marathon at 9am and the 10K at 10am.

The varied out-and-back course follows towpaths past numerous locks to the impressive Tunnel End, where the 3.5-mile tunnel runs beneath the Pennines. A generous 6.5-hour cut-off lets runners go at their own pace, with well-stocked aid stations and enthusiastic marshals along the route. Every finisher receives a custom medal, drinks and post-race treats.
