About

The AdventHealth Silver Springs Half Marathon, 10K & 5K takes place in Silver Springs, Florida, in late March, at Silver Springs State Park. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 7:30 a.m., the 5K (3.1 miles) at 7:40 a.m. and the 10K (6.2 miles) at 7:50 a.m., all as trail runs.

Runners see gardens, historic structures and abundant wildlife. They receive a custom shirt and a finisher medal, and awards go to top runners, masters and age-group finishers. The race bib gives participants access to the park, with activities such as glass-bottom boat tours and kayaking, while friends and family need to pay the park entrance fee. Silver Springs is known for its natural beauty, history and efforts to protect Florida's springs and waterways. Humidity is the main factor to plan for in late March.
