Seawitch Racing Festival

Seawitch Racing Festival runs over two days in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on October 24–25, 2026. The half marathon (13.1 miles) is held on the first day and the 5K follows on the second, both along the Atlantic shoreline, between the beach and the coastal neighborhoods behind it.

Splitting the races across a weekend means you can enter both, though racing a 5K on tired legs the morning after a half is an exercise in patience rather than speed — treat it as a shakeout and you will enjoy it more. Taken alone, the half is the main event and deserves a proper build: 12 to 16 weeks, a long run stretching to 11 or 12 miles, and one weekly session at half marathon effort so the pace feels familiar. Seafront routes are usually flat, which makes even splits a realistic target.
