SEASIDE SCHOOL™ Half Marathon + 5K

SEASIDE SCHOOL™ Half Marathon + 5K is a charity race in Seaside, Florida on February 14, 2027, benefiting the SEASIDE SCHOOL FOUNDATION™ and the local public charter schools it supports. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 7:00 a.m. and the 5K at 7:30 a.m. Both courses are flat out-and-backs along Highway 30A, with views of the Gulf waters and the coastal landscape. The race weekend also includes a culinary event, a silent auction, a runner expo and live entertainment, and participants receive an event shirt, a gift, finisher medals, a post-race meal and a beer.

Flat out-and-back roads make this a fair place to chase a half marathon time, since you can hold one rhythm out and know exactly what is coming back. If it is your first 13.1, a 14-week build with a long run growing to 11 or 12 miles is plenty. The 5K works as a shorter option for family members traveling with you.
