Event #5 of the Sea Rim Striders FREE Summer Run/Walk Series takes place at Claiborne West Park in Vidor, Southeast Texas. This free 5K (3.1 miles) is open to everyone, runners and walkers alike, with a 7 p.m. mass start on a Monday evening. It is one of ten stops in the Sea Rim Striders club's summer series, held across Vidor, Lumberton, Orange, Port Arthur and Beaumont.

It's a laid-back community run: no timing, no race bibs, no event shirts and no medals. Pre-registration with a signed waiver is required for every participant on course. Arrive early to pick up your wristband.
