The SCORCHIN' SQUIRREL TRAIL RUN (10k, 11m, 15m, 20m) takes place at Ferncliff Camp near Little Rock on August 15, 2027, with four trail distances: 20 miles (32.2 km), 15 miles (24.1 km), 11.5 miles (18.5 km) and 10K (6.2 miles), all starting at 7:00 a.m. The rugged terrain includes aid stations and creek crossings.
The focus is on heat training and building trail skills. At the finish, runners enjoy refreshments at the pool pavilion and good company under the large covered area, with proceeds benefiting Ferncliff.
