Scoogië's Oktoberfest 5k, 5 Miler, 2 Mile Jog/Walk & Kids Root Beer Run! is a family-friendly community race in Ambler celebrating Oktoberfest, organized by Scoogië Events and Well Crafted Brewing Company in partnership with Ambler Yards and Lower Gwynedd Township. On October 2, 2027, the 1/4 Mile Kids' Root Beer Run kicks off at 10:50 a.m., followed by the 5 Miler (8 km) at 11:00 a.m., the 5K (3.1 miles) at 11:11 a.m. and the 2 Mile Jog/Walk (3.2 km) at 11:13 a.m.

Participants receive a medal and a commemorative baseball cap, and runners 21 and over get a Well Crafted Brewing Company beer at the finish; ID is required to get a beer. Festive music, lawn games, food trucks and an awards ceremony with age group and overall awards round out the day. Registration is limited.
