About

The Scholars Run, part of the Healthy Blount Triple Crown of Running, takes place on the Maryville College campus in Maryville on July 24, 2027. Participants choose between a 5K (3.1 miles) at 8:00 a.m. and a 1-mile (1.6 km) fun run/walk at 8:45 a.m.

Those who take part in all three Triple Crown events are eligible for special awards and prizes. Awards go to the top 5K finishers, and every fun run/walk participant receives a gift. Bikes, skates and dogs are not allowed, and headphones are discouraged. Refreshments are served after the race, followed by an awards ceremony.
