About

Sazón & Sneakers 5K, held in Lake Mary on October 2, 2027, is organized by The Spanish Girls Run to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and create empowering spaces for Latina women, women of color, moms and their allies. It features a timed 5K (3.1-mile) run/walk and a free kids' fun run, both starting at 7:30 a.m., as well as a virtual option.

Proceeds go to community programs, including scholarships and access to wellness services. Awards go to the top male and female finishers and to age group winners. Music, cultural activities and community booths complete the event, and participation is capped to ensure a great experience.
