About

The SARR Prickly Pear 50K/10M/5K is a trail race put on by the San Antonio RoadRunners at McAllister Park in San Antonio on March 6, 2027. All distances are run on natural trails:

  • 50K (31 miles): 6:00 a.m.
  • 15K (9.3 miles): 8:00 a.m.
  • 5K (3.1 miles): 8:30 a.m.

The race is chip-timed, with awards for the top three overall and for masters runners in every category. Finishers receive a medal, and 50K finishers also get a hat and a car sticker. The course has aid stations, but runners must carry their own hydration gear. Expect single-track trails over varied terrain. For safety reasons, dogs and strollers are not allowed.
