About

The SARR Fiesta Mission Run takes place in San Antonio, Texas, in mid-April. Established in 1974, it is the oldest event produced by the San Antonio RoadRunners and is known as both the club's oldest race and the oldest 10K in San Antonio. It began as a 10K only and has grown to include several distances for runners of all levels. Although the title mentions the 10K, 5K and kids' 1K, the race data also lists a half marathon (13.1 miles) at 7:15 AM, with the 10K (6.2 miles) at 7:30 AM, the 5K (3.1 miles) at 7:45 AM and a kids' fun run of about 0.6 miles at 7:00 AM.
