About

The Santa Fe Ten Memorial Run In Remembrance is held in the scenic setting of Hitchcock, Galveston County, on May 15, 2027, with a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk at 8:00 a.m. and a Kids 1K run/walk for ages 2 to 10 at 9:00 a.m. The event supports the creation of the Santa Fe Ten Memorial, a space dedicated to reflection.

Medals go to the top three in each men's and women's age group, with extra awards in fun categories: dog-walking champion, double runner and team competitions. After the race, food trucks serve up great food, live bands perform and a silent auction takes place. Surprises await everyone who crosses the finish line.
