San Diego 100-Mile Endurance Race

The San Diego 100-Mile Endurance Race is a 100-mile (160.9 km) ultra trail race based in Del Mar, California, held on June 4, 2027, with about 9,800 feet (3,000 m) of elevation gain. The course runs through the mountains of San Diego County, on trails crossing the arid landscape typical of Southern California.

Runners face demanding terrain, far from the greener trails found elsewhere in the United States, with dry, rocky scenery over almost the entire route. It is a pure test of endurance, reserved for seasoned runners able to manage their effort over a very long distance and difficult mountain terrain, in the often hot, dry conditions of the region.
