About

The Salomon Hammer Trail Winter is a winter trail race in Allinge-Sandvig, on the Danish island of Bornholm, with its base at Sandvig on the island's northern tip. On 26 January 2027, runners can choose from four trail distances: 21 km, 42 km, 63 km and 84 km.

The elevation gain rises with each format, from 940 m on the 21 km to 1,880 m on the 42 km, 2,830 m on the 63 km and 3,770 m on the 84 km. This progression makes the event suitable both for a first taste of winter trail running and for tackling an ultra, in an island setting that is unusual for the time of year.
