About

Running on the Ridge in Paragould offers a 5K (3.1 miles), a 10K (6.2 miles), a 1-mile dog jog/fun run and a new 10K rucking division carrying a backpack, all on May 29, 2027. The 5K and 10K start at 7:30 a.m. and the dog jog/fun run at 7:45 a.m.

The courses wind through downtown Paragould and along part of the 8 Mile Creek Trail, starting and finishing at the Greene County Fairgrounds. The event supports the Henry Wrinkles Foundation. Participants receive a ticket to the Rodeo on the Ridge and a finisher's prize, with a T-shirt guaranteed for early registrants. The 5K and 10K are timed, and specific rules apply to participants running with dogs and to children.
