The Running of the Bears 5K is a 5K (3.1 miles) at Stratton Mountain Resort in Stratton, Vermont, starting at 8:30 a.m. on July 4, 2027, for a day of fun, sport and mountain energy.

The race starts in the courtyard and follows a scenic course surrounded by Vermont’s beautiful landscapes. Whether racing competitively or simply enjoying a morning in the mountains, participants can expect a lively atmosphere and activities for every taste. After the race, the awards ceremony presents a gift card to each of the top male and female finishers, with age-group prizes for runners of all levels.
