The Running of Breeze in the Trees 5k invites runners of all ages to a USATF-sanctioned 5K (3.1 miles) through beautiful pecan orchards in Sahuarita on August 7, 2027, with a 7 a.m. start.
Participants who register before the deadline receive a free T-shirt, and the first 300 finishers get a collectible medal. A pancake breakfast and refreshments are served after the race, and prizes include gift certificates for top runners in various categories. The event supports local beneficiaries, including the Walden Grove High School band and the Sahuarita 4-H club.
